Good coffee doesn't need to be complicated.
Kopi Sore is a neighborhood coffee shop in Surabaya made for slow mornings, creative afternoons, and conversations that last until closing.
Kopi Sore started with a simple idea:
"Create a place where people don't feel rushed."
We wanted to build a café that feels familiar from the first visit. Somewhere you can grab a quick espresso before work, spend three hours working on your laptop, or meet friends after a long day.
Our coffee is carefully sourced from Indonesian farmers and roasted locally in East Java.
Our food is simple, honest, and made to pair well with coffee.
Nothing too complicated.
Just good things, made properly.
We believe a café isn't just about what's in the cup.
It's about the conversations around the table.
It's about the quiet hour before the city gets busy.
It's about meeting someone after months apart.
It's about having nowhere else to be for a while.
That's what Kopi Sore is about.
Our most-loved drink.
Double espresso, fresh milk, palm sugar, and a tiny pinch of sea salt.
We work with Indonesian coffee producers and small-scale roasters. Three origins rotate on the bar this season.

Kopi Sore was designed around one idea: you shouldn't have to leave after finishing your coffee.
Whether you're working, studying, meeting someone, or simply doing nothing — there's a seat for you.

Have a question, want to reserve a table, or planning a small event? We answer fastest on WhatsApp — usually between espresso shots.
Kopi Sore is available for small private gatherings, community events, workshops, and casual meetings. After 22.00, the whole café can be yours.

Indonesia has some of the world's most interesting coffee-growing regions. From the volcanic highlands of East Java to the tropical mountains of Bali and Sumatra, every region brings something different to the cup.

Sometimes the best part of the workday is the twenty minutes when you stop working. Put the laptop away. Order something cold. Talk to someone. Take a breath. Then get back to it.

Coffee starts long before the espresso machine. We work with local roasters who build relationships with Indonesian farmers and producers, helping us bring better coffee into your everyday routine.
Finally found a café in Darmo where I can actually work for a few hours. Coffee is great and the place is super comfortable.

The Kopi Susu Sore is dangerously good. The palm sugar isn't overly sweet.

Really like the atmosphere here. Quiet in the morning, more lively toward the evening.
